History was made last night (with a single helpful vote from myself) when http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2008/11/04/pres_electionday/ (yay.gif). It'll be very interesting to see what President Obama does in the next 4 years.

In Minnesota news it looks like Norm Coleman will http://minnesota.publicradio.org/display/web/2008/11/05/minn_senate_race_very_close/ (sad.gif).

Yeah, can't say that Im a suporter. Nothing against him, just not a fan of his style of government. I am how ever eager to see how he performes. I think he is very intelligent and capable of doing great things. I still wish more independent parties would be able to rise up and challenge the Dems and Reps. Im not a fan of a two party system.

As for Al Franken, I just don't like him, I think he would bring shame on to our state. Colman has done a fine job so far, it would have been neat if Dean got the nomination instead.

Oh well.

One final note, a United States where one party controles everything is dangerous. Im kind of affraid of what is happening in the senate and house. Their the ones that make all the REAL descisions, and the checks and balances are WAY out of balance. It will be intresting if it brings us together more or pushes us apart. Either way, Im looking forward to the future.

I am proud of this historical moment. I really am. That's why I would like to see Barack Obama's Birth Certificate in a museum as a historical document.
