History was made last night (with a single helpful vote from myself) when Barack Obama was elected to be our 44th president (yay.gif). It'll be very interesting to see what President Obama does in the next 4 years.

In Minnesota news it looks like Norm Coleman will very narrowly defeat Al Franken (sad.gif).

I changed the topic viewing stylesheet slightly, let me know what you think of the changes. Easy to change back if everyone hates it or something.

Also, let's all see if we can get some more happening here! Deciv is a place many of us loved, and it can be active again! Tell your friends to check it out, or maybe to come back if they've been here before. I'm thinking I may send out a mass mail to a bunch of old members and see if we can raise awareness a bit. Anyone have any other ideas for revitalizing the site?

Edit: Been fixed a bit ago, sadly. Google had scanned a map with a bug on the lens and it looks like a 50 meter insect was in farm fields of Germany. tongue.gif

Deciv needs your help! We are not rich, and some of us are having a hard time even paying our credit card bills, much less for a web site in addition. To help keep the forums up, please donate! Any little bit helps. If we get enough we will be able to upgrade our service too.

Also, we are in need of more posts! I know I've been very inactive myself, but I hope to change that now. If you have a friend who might fit in here, tell them about Deciv and how 1337 we are! See a cool movie or hear about a cool new band? Post about it! Got a weird tech problem and don't know how to fix it? Post about it! Find a weird spot on your floor and don't know what it is? Post about it!

I am posting this because I am sick of always being forced to pick up the tab for the site. Contrary to popular belife, I am not made of money and this month has been horrible for finances due to various reasons. So basically come the last day of May if people do not want to donate money to pay for the server, I am going to end it.

If you have any comments or questions now is the time to state them.
